How can you make a difference?

You as the People and Culture Officer report to the Chief People and Culture for close guidance, training and supervision. You provide support to the supervisor and colleagues in the unit by executing HR services through applying knowledge of theoretical HR models, as well as understanding of organizational HR policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in human resource management, business management, international relations, psychology and any other related fields.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
Skills: Active listening, planning, organizational and communication skills, the ability to influence, and emotional intelligence are required.
Language Requirements: Proficient/Fluent level of French and Intermediate level of English are required.

Desirables:

Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
Experience in innovation, change management, organizational culture, wellbeing, employee engagement campaigns and digital literacy is desired.
Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts is an asset.
