TERMS OF REFERENCE

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Fundraising Officer, the Digital Fundraising (FR) Consultant provides specialized technical support to the Communications and Fundraising Section in the development, implementation, execution and monitoring of private sector fundraising activities, with a particular focus on digital donor acquisition. The Consultant contributes to the effective and timely delivery of digital fundraising initiatives, ensuring alignment with UNICEF strategies, policies, procedures, standards and applicable rules and regulations, while supporting the achievement of agreed fundraising objectives and results.

Minimum Qualification required:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Completion of university courses in Digital Marketing, Social Science, Communication, Fundraising, Business Administration or other relevant field.

Work experience

Minimum of six years of work experience, in digital fundraising, digital marketing, coordinating and / or implementing digital conversion / sales campaigns.

Relevant experience in digital fundraising within a UN agency is a strong asset.

Demonstrable knowledge of digital FR campaigns, digital marketing, performance digital campaigns.

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills

Planning and monitoring skills.

Demonstrated ability to adjust to unexpected challenges and proposing counter measures accordingly.

Computer literacy.

Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills.

Diplomatic negotiation, influencing and networking skills to establish and maintain trusted relationship and to develop close and effective working relationship.

Language Requirements

Fluency in English, spoken and written.

Desirables

Prior work experience with UNICEF or other UN organization is an asset.
