TERMS OF REFERENCE

This role will provide newly designated PSEA Focal Points within government ministries with essential knowledge, practical skills, and tools to prevent, detect, and respond to SEA in a survivor-centered, confidential, and coordinated manner, in line with inter-agency and national frameworks.

Minimum requirements:

Education: Advanced university degree (bachelors) in social sciences, law, protection, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in PSEA/GBV/protection programming and capacity building in humanitarian or public-sector contexts. Prior engagement with government counterparts on PSEA is key.
  • Proven experience designing and facilitating Arabic-language PSEA/GBV/GENDER training for government counterparts; ability to adapt materials to context.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inter-agency PSEA standards, survivor-centered approaches, and safe disclosure and referral procedures.
  • 8 years of experience in violence prevention and positive parenting responsive programming at the national and international level, preferably served in a developing country, is required.
