How can you make a difference?
The Digital Governance and Platforms (DGP) team within UNICEF’s Division of Global Communication and Advocacy (GCA) plays a critical role in managing UNICEF’s public-facing digital ecosystem, ensuring that governance frameworks, workflows, and platforms are implemented consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational standards.36
As part of its Digital Transformation Strategy and Future Generation Initiative, UNICEF is advancing several key priorities, including the implementation and the rollout of the Web Content Lifecycle Project, and the deployment of a corporate Web Archiving solution. These initiatives are essential to improving operational efficiency, strengthening compliance, reducing digital risks, and ensuring that UNICEF’s web presence remains relevant, trustworthy, and sustainable.
To support these efforts, UNICEF is seeking a qualified consultant to work with the DGP team to drive the operational implementation, coordination, and follow-up of these initiatives across global, regional, and country offices. The consultant will ensure that delivery is tracked against defined milestones, working closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
The consultant will not be responsible for technical development or platform configuration. Instead, the role will focus on operational delivery, stakeholder coordination, and implementation tracking, following up on deliverables, and supporting the rollout and adoption of the Web Content Lifecycle and Web Archiving initiatives across the organization.
