TERMS OF REFERENCE
UNICEF, jointly with UNDP, and in partnership with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MoPSE) of Uzbekistan, is implementing Vision 2030 project for Modelling climate resilience and WASH in 50 schools in Uzbekistan. Its key priorities are enhancing access of children and adolescents in the most affected schools to equitable, inclusive, and climate-resilient learning environments and enhance the education system to better plan, deliver, and maintain school environments. Reinforcing sustainable WASH practices and infrastructure maintenance in gender-sensitive and transparent ways requires targeted social and behaviour change (SBC) interventions at community level. UNICEF Communication section is set to develop an evidence-based SBC Communication plan with behaviorally informed solutions, as well as to support national partners in systematization of a community feedback mechanism to ensure community’s views and concerns inform the proposed WASH solutions. For the implementation of the planned activities, UNICEF is seeking the services of a local consultant to support timely accomplishment of interventions, including but not limited to liaison with national partners and subject experts, coordinating the collaboration with relevant stakeholders, external vendors, and to perform a quality control and overall coordination of envisaged SBC solutions.
