1- Coordination of UNSDCF Outcome Groups Act as focal point for five outcome groups, ensuring smooth facilitation of meetings, agendas, and documentation. Maintain updated member lists and provide secretariat support. 2-Consolidated Reporting and Technical Documentation Prepare progress reports, technical briefs, and meeting notes. Contribute to UNCT Annual Results Report 2024 and inputs for CCA and UNSDCF assessments. 3- Enhanced Inter-Agency Collaboration Coordinate between Outcome Groups, PMT, PME, and provincial programme teams to align with national priorities. Support youth-focused initiatives and lead quarterly Youth Group meetings. 4- Integration of Digital and Innovative Tools Apply digital solutions to improve coordination efficiency and impact. 5- Develop and establish workplan for Youth Working Group: At UN Country level, establish a youth working group and workplan for 2026, establishing short term and long-term goals and how develop strategy how youth can be integrated in UN Pakistan.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Resident Coordinator (RC) system encompasses all organizations of the United Nations system dealing with operational activities for development, regardless of their formal presence in the country. The RC system aims to bring together the different UN agencies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational activities at the country level. The UN supported Government of Pakistan in its determined political will towards expeditiously prioritizing and adopting SDGs within national and local level priorities under the United Nations Sustainable Development Country Framework for Pakistan (UNSDCF).The UNSDCF planned results focus on five key outcome areas that respond to Pakistan’s development priorities and harness the powerful force of the United Nations’ comparative advantage in these areas. These were identified through an intensive consultation process with national and provincial authorities, alongside other implementing partners and stakeholders in the country. These key outcomes and their anticipated results serve as a framework for taking stock of progress, and of the effectiveness of the collaborative work carried out by the United Nations and the Government of Pakistan. They are expected to provide the people of Pakistan with a fuller range of choices and opportunities, promoting their human development and – in the words of Agenda 2030 – helping them to fulfil “their potential in dignity, equality and in a healthy environment.” Duties and Responsibilities The UNSDCF Coordination Officer (Consultant) will work under the supervision of the Head of RCO/Senior Strategic Planner and submit monthly progress reports detailing activities and achievements.
