INTERNSHIP OFFICE BACKGROUND:
Guided by the global UNDP Strategic Plan (2022–2025) and UNDP Country Programme for Lao PDR (2022–2026), UNDP in Lao PDR works closely with a broad range of stakeholders to pursue national socio-economic development priorities.
This internship is situated within the Economist Team, focusing on Green and Sustainable Finance. The work supports two key initiatives:
- The United Nations Joint Programme on Green and Climate Finance: A 24-month initiative by UNDP, UNEP, UN-Habitat, and FAO to help finance green growth and climate-resilient development in Lao PDR.
