We work closely with major global partners - including governments, international financial institutions, and UN agencies - to deliver a wide range of services, such as project management, fund management, hosting services, and HR support.

This is a Retainer HR Associate position that will provide support to our HR activities in relation to the Partnership between UNOPS and UNODC. The support will be required to cope with peaks in demand for specific HR processes, such as recruitment activity or personnel administration.
Contract duration: Retainer ICA - One year with possibility of extension subject to project needs, satisfactory performance and budget availability.
A retainer contract is issued for a period of time during which the services of the individual contractor are required intermittently. The individual contractor agreement on retainer basis will specify a "unit price" per day worked. For budgetary purposes, a monetary cap will be determined when the contract is awarded and issued. Please note that the retainer contract will not provide for a minimum, and payment will be made only after completion of work.

The HR Associate administers and implements a wide range of HR plans and processes that support Office personnel. Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients, the HR Associate provides timely guidance, information and support on HR procedures, services and initiatives, ensuring consistent and client-focused service delivery.

1. Policy Development and Implementation Support
Collect, maintain, and continuously update data on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities to inform HR policy development and corporate initiatives.
Support the rollout and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
Generate workforce data and statistics to support planning, including personnel movement analysis.
Communicate HR policy updates and new initiatives to management and personnel, offering clarification and guidance where needed
