Job Description
Las funciones de esta posición se agrupan en cuatro pilares clave:
Control y Seguimiento Contractual: Monitorear el estado global de los contratos y órdenes de compra, controlar las entregas, vigilar la vigencia de las garantías, aplicar multas o retenciones cuando corresponda y emitir alertas preventivas.
Gestión Administrativa y Financiera: Revisar la documentación para los trámites de pago, coordinar procesos de nacionalización de importaciones y gestionar solicitudes de enmiendas o modificaciones contractuales.
Registro, Calidad de Información y Cumplimiento: Mantener actualizadas las matrices de seguimiento y los sistemas institucionales (como One UNOPS), asegurando el respaldo físico y digital de todo el proceso con altos estándares de calidad.
Coordinación, Comunicación y Soporte: Servir de enlace entre el proyecto, los asociados y los proveedores, evaluar el desempeño de estos últimos para futuras adjudicaciones y brindar apoyo general a la gerencia del proyecto.

Based in Honduras, the Central America Multi-Country Office (CEMCO) manages UNOPS operations in Honduras and El Salvador. Since 2014, UNOPS has been a key development partner to the Government of Honduras and international stakeholders, supporting priority sectors such as health, infrastructure, water and sanitation, and institutional strengthening. A flagship initiative includes the partnership with the Honduran Social Security Institute (IHSS), through which UNOPS has facilitated the procurement of over 671 million medicines, benefiting more than 1.9 million people. Beyond pharmaceuticals, UNOPS has contributed to health system improvements through the acquisition of medical equipment and the development of health infrastructure. It has also implemented water and sanitation projects in underserved communities and delivered specialized technical assistance, digital infrastructure enhancements, and IT solutions. UNOPS places strong emphasis on sustainability and the integration of gender, diversity, and inclusion across its projects and procurement processes, promoting equality and advancing human rights.
