How can you make a difference?  

Under the direct supervision of the Digital for Systems Strengthening Lead in the Amman COE, and working closely with the Senior Advisor for Child Protection for Africa, T4D and DID focal points in East and South Africa, the Regional Child Protection Case management and Information Management Specialist, ESA will be responsible for the following:
Provision of direct support to UNICEF country offices (COs), governments and inter-agency partners on the implementation of child protection case management and information management system (CPIMS+) which includes, but is not limited to, building on existing tools, standards, guidelines and procedures; supporting countries in the region to apply and/or adapt tools for child protection case management in development and humanitarian settings for the social service workforce support to children in need of child protection/social welfare services notably children at risk or victims of violence (including gender-based violence), exploitation, abuse, and children on the move who are in need of protection services both within and across borders. This support includes the development and adaptation of case management tools and procedures, data protection and information sharing protocols, and data protection impact assessments. In addition to the foundational case management programmatic considerations, the consultant will work closely with COs and partners to plan, develop and support the social service workforce on the technical support needed for the implementation of CPIMS+/Primero to digitize their case management SOPs, workflows and referral pathways for coordination of services for vulnerable children and survivors of violence.
