The purpose of this consultancy is to provide specialized technical and coordination support to the Ministry of Health and UNICEF Uzbekistan in advancing priority nutrition activities in Uzbekistan.

Minimum requirements:          

QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES (CORE/TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL) / LANGUAGE SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ASSIGNMENT  

Minimum Qualifications required*:

Health, Public Health, Nutrition

• Master degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Medicine, Health Policy or other relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in development, review or technical support of health and nutrition-related policies, strategies, guidelines, standards or regulatory frameworks.
• Proven technical experience in breastfeeding promotion, protection and support programmes, including familiarity with BFHI and infant and young child feeding (IYCF) approaches.
