                                                         TERMS OF REFERENCE

Purpose of Activity/Assignment:

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Education Specialist, the consultant will support the implementation of two flagship education programmes aimed at strengthening skills development in children and youth, as well as school safety in Greece: the U Talent programme, implemented in partnership with DYPA, and the Safe Schools Alliance anti-bullying initiative, a joint initiative with Piraeus Bank, implemented in collaboration with Regional Education Directorates and academic institutions.
The U Talent programme is a skills development and employability initiative designed to equip young people attending apprenticeship schools, with transversal, green, entrepreneurial and career readiness competencies that enhance their transition from education to employment. Through trainings and the use of digital tools the programme supports youth empowerment and promotes inclusive opportunities for skills acquisition and professional development.
The Safe Schools Alliance is an anti-bullying and school violence prevention initiative that aims to foster safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments for children and adolescents. The programme promotes awareness raising, prevention, and response mechanisms related to bullying and peer violence through capacity building activities, partnerships with schools and local authorities, community engagement, and evidence-based advocacy.
